My son Jack is a great student at Ohio State but found himself losing ground in a class he needed for his engineering major. After doing typical things like office hours, listening to other lectures and using YouTube; he still found himself with only a 60% average going into the final exam. He needed a 73% in the class and had one exam left! We heard of Tutoring By A College Professor on Facebook and spoke with Leslie Marx. Leslie responded to me right away and within 24 hours she had paired Jack with Professor Nolan from across the country. Nolan was incredibly responsive and easy to work with! He knew the subject well and understood the foundational principles Jack had been missing. He was a good “teacher” and they worked through homework, exam reviews and questions. Jack was able to complete 5 tutoring sessions with Nolan over 2 weeks. I laugh now but we think he got a 100% on the last exam!
